Michelle Co-organized & Managed this event for the Band Leader which was the first of its kind in the community of Dennery
Michelle helped the band leader to rebrand the name of the Band and organize its structure.
Michelle developed the idea & Storyline for the event and its Organizer at the Boys Training Center. This led to the support of the event by the Botham Jean Foundation and other agencies.
Michelle was invited to consult along with other professionals to provide insight on the Scheme. She represented the MSME Community and provided suggestions and considerations in favor of the small business community.
Michelle brought Startup Huddle to St. Lucia. Through her efforts, the program was then scaled to all the Eastern Caribbean islands through a partnership with the Global Entrepreneurship Network and the U.S. Department of State.
Michelle brought EWC to St. Lucia. Through her efforts, Youth became part of the eligibility categories, EWC was scaled to the entire Caribbean region, and she also trained the Organizers in each of the Caribbean countries on how to host a National EWC
Michelle provided insight and suggestions to the Taiwan Technical Mission on the recruitment/ and selection process of candidates and other key processes.
Michelle is a member of this network as an Ecosystem partner and has collaborated with them to make it possible for three St. Lucian startups to participate in two of their digital programs and two of them made it to the semi-finals with their pitch
Michelle hosted a private group mentorship session for the graduates of the Dream to Reality program with billionaire serial Entrepreneur Jeff Hoffman
Michelle participated in a panel discussion in Manama Bahrain where she shared her work in Startup Huddle and introduced the concept of the Startup Ecosystem Hub and how one can be successfully run and managed
Michelle mentored and guided Mr. Claybourne Appies, social entrepreneur of Deaftouch during EWC semi-finals. She helped to shape his perspective and refine his business strategies. Her guidance added value in assisting his progress in the program from the Top 200 to the top 25 at EWC
Michelle collaborated with self-made millionaire and Inventor of the Cut Buddy Joshua Esnard to St. Lucia where he headlined the launch of Startup Huddle in St. Lucia during Global Entrepreneurship Week. The event brought corporate St. Lucia, Entrepreneurs from all sectors, the media and Governmental agencies
Michelle hosted a virtual group mentorship session with Billionaire Entrepreneur Jeff Hoffman as a keynote speaker. Twelve (12) projects ensued from the discussion to create or share COVID-19 relief projects to roll out in May 2020.
Michelle worked with Shark Tank Winner and Inventor of the Cut Buddy Joshua Esnard, to develop the curriculum and structure for this competition which helps to discover Inventors in youth ages 13 to 17 years. Students of the Leon Hess Secondary School benefited from this pilot. It was endorsed by the Ministry of Education, Department of Innovation.
Michelle founded this initiative where YLAI Alumni would share and recruit potentials. Michelle also worked with potentials to prepare and condition them for the YLAI application process. From 2018-2023, through her efforts, 13 persons have been selected as semi-finalists and 8 of them have made it to the finals
Michelle collaborated with the Global Entrepreneurship Network to have two startups from St. Lucia present their businesses during the Heroine Entrepreneurs Congress segment, at the UK Women's Entrepreneurship Congress
Michelle and her team successfully hosted and moderated the virtual Startup Workshop for the Taiwan Embassy, U.S. Embassy, Global Entrepreneurship Network, and Invest St. Lucia
Michelle made it possible for underrepresented startups and entrepreneurs in St. Lucia to benefit from this training. Learners left with the knowledge to raise money to scale their tech startups
Michelle brought AWE to St. Lucia, through her partnership with the U.S. Embassy in Barbados. She was the Primary Facilitator and Curriculum Developer. She helped to train and empower over 100 St. Lucian women from 2020 to 2022. AWE St. Lucia has been replaced with the Dream to Reality Business Plan Training Program
As of July 2023, Dream to Reality Business Plan Training replaces the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs St. Lucia program which was originally implemented by SLUDTERA in partnership with the U.S. Embassy of Barbados. Dream to Reality Business Plan Training, is a FREE program offered by MNS Consultancy in partnership with Freeport McMoran Foundation, and Arizona State University’s Thunderbird School of Global Management, to St. Lucian youth, men and women. The program is centered around DreamBuilder and is Facilitated by Michelle along with her partners. MNS Consultancy offers three levels of training, which will provide learners with the skills and knowledge required to start or scale their own businesses.
